I find that it is easiest to guess what size to make by using the chest size. You can lengthen or shorten from there. Or, measure a RTW across the chest and compare to the pattern. The dress turned out great and will be perfect for spring and summer.

Looks very cute! yes, with respect to sewing the bodice and lining as one. I too think that method gives a very messy look to the garment. Plus if you are working with fray type fabric...blah!

That is a really cute dress! I love the bow on the bloomers - I also have a lot of trouble with the front and back of things. Beautifully made and a lovely colour =)

Adorable dress and GREAT review! I also have the same problem with bloomers, but I do have labels that say "mommy made".

Thanks for the review. This will be used for my one year olds Easter dress as well. I love your compensation to short zippers... I run into this problem a lot.
