You got it goin' on in this ruffled skirt! It's BEAUTIFUL! OF COURSE, the RUFFLE just makes it, and makes for a very slimming silhouette, too. I think it would ALSO be cute with the ruffle lined in a contrasting (but not TOO contrasting) color, where you'd see a little hint of the ruffle "lining" now and again. I'll let you know if I come up with any more BIG IDEAS, but in the meantime, enjoy wearing this PERFECT little confection!

Well! This IS the pattern I was working on and put aside for awhile, and mine is gray as well! It's so funny when two seamstresses make the same thing at the same time, especially if it is an older pattern. Anyway, yours looks great! Wish I had read the review about shortening the yoke. I think that tip might have solved a lot of the problems I'm currently experiencing.
