Diana M - Sorry it is not hand embroidery. I never hand stitch anything unless I have too. I have a Bernina Deco (bottom of the range embroidery machine) that I am still learning how to use after 7 years.

Really cute! I usually fuse a soft piece of interfacing to the back of embroidery on children's wear.
