I think the piping is so narrow and the pattern so large that it gets lost. Perhaps a 1" wide ribbon in a contrasting color such as the green might look nice. Try holding it up to see if it works. I think the jumper would look nice without the piping. You did a good job. I would definitely try another view if I were you. I think NL children's patterns turn out very well.

Thank you so much for your suggestion! I was looking at it this morning really trying to figure something out. I think a wide green ribbon would look great. I have to take it apart a little bit anyway because it was huge on my DD. I think I'll try it again in a solid color.

Very cute dress! I like the front waist detail, but you're right that it kind of gets lost with that print. Still, very nice job, and you're making me feel more confident about giving piping a go.
