When I was reading your instructions on the serging, I said "must be an advanced sewer"! :) Thanks for the review; I'm not certain about how these would look like on me. I might have to go try on some RTW.

Oh, that slit skirt is scary all by itself! The tapered shape looks absolutely dreadful on me when I wear it with a short top, and I'm not that heavy . However, under a tunic length top, that falls just below the widest part of my hips, the skirt is fabulous--you get the very slender-legged look that we used to get from leggings, but in a skirt, and it's a nice balance with a flowing top. So I've decided these narrow skirts are great for very specific purposes, but aren't useful all-around for me. THe Basewear 2 skirt with (or without) the flounce is more versatile, though.
