I really love Slinky and have used it quite a bit since making this top. I did use my serger on the seams but didn't need to because Slinky doesn't ravel at all. You do have to be careful not to stretch it especially when doing top stitching. I didn't stabilize the seams or anything. I made matching pull-on pants. The entire outfit is so comfortable it is incredible. If you ever get an opportunity to buy some you should try it. I'm currently working on a project using Slinky. I'll post it when I finish. I have noticed that some Slinky more than other looks like the stretch velvet. Slinkey is "weighty" so pants need to be snug in the waist so that they don't slide down on you.

Great top in a beautiful color. Thanks for the FBA tip, I'll need to do one to this top also.

Really really pretty. I have made this for my DD and really like the pattern anyway, but your fabric really makes it lovely. I too thought it was stretch velvet! So how was it working with the slinky?

When I first looked at the photo, I didn't realize it was slinky - thought it was stretch velvet. It's beautiful.
