I started making this dress yesterday and appreciated your comments about practicing with the pleats. Now that I read your review again, I think you were talking about the pleats on the dress itself. I thought you were talking about the pleats (which are tucks) on the midriff. Just as well that I thought that, because I did practice making them, and they looked awful! I found an alternative method making tucks with my special foot on the machine....I will post pics when finished. Thanks again.

Great review and cute fabric. I'm looking forward to making this now. By the way, I picked up this pattern because of the pockets--I'm always picking up choking hazards and need pockets to put them in!
