Wow, this is a gorgeous dress -especially on you! You did a wonderful job of adapting the twin-set pattern into a dress. Love the unorthodox sway back adjustment. Maybe that is the best way to go! Thanks for the detailed review. Its nice to see (read) how people think through these things. And - don't cut it short, at least not for a while, its great as is!

Cindyann, I'll check in with the first of dozens of comments you're bound to get on this dress... it is absolutely beautiful on you and I love your method for creating the new back seam! :-) I can't imagine you cutting this dress up. Practical clothes are easy. This one is a triumph!

Cindyann -- yes the effort was worth it! Your dress is stunning, and it couldn't possibly fit you better. You should be extremely proud of yourself for the gorgeous outcome of such a creative endeavor! I love your technique for the CB seam too -- very original, and it makes perfect sense!

This is great, Cindyann. I loved following your planning and process and the outcome is quite becoming. Wear it with deserved pride. I wouldn't cut it off, surely you can find reasons to wear it.

When everone else is wondering what to wear to the Oscars, you'll be all set. No Big Name Designer could have done better. It's fabulous, and I'm very impressed! You have certainly concealed its lowly twin-set-pattern origins.

Why make something so extraordinary and then make it ordinary by cutting it off? A beautiful example of your creativity. (My husband likes it too.)

Oh mY! This came from that twin set pattern? WOW! I love that dress CIndyann. My figure is going the opposite way right now and I'm sooooo jealous! I had to make my twin set pattern into maternity wear and it definitely don't look as good as that! :)

This is TDF! A CA original. I love it! Unless I read your review, I never would have thought you started with a twinset pattern.

OK, that qualifies as creative. :) Very nice, you should be very proud of yourself for doing all this. Looks lovely. You will have to go out for a fancy dinner or two before you shorten the dress.

Cindyann, DO NOT....I repeat DO NOT cut this dress! It is stunning, beautiful and all around drop dead gorgeous! A designer does not cut up her creations. Bravo! Well done. Go somewhere soon that you can wear this dress to. Perhaps a cruise is in order.

This dress is fabulous!!! I looked at the photo before reading the review and right away clicked on the pattern because I wanted it, (although it would never look that good on me!) and I was *shocked* to see the twin set! I thought it must be a mistake. Don't dare cut it!

great looking dress. actually, the fact that you added non-stretch trim at neckline added a lot of stability to that neckline. knit necklines are so tricky! what are those "lingerie guards" that prevent slipping? I'd love to use those!!! I love the back V

RL eat you rheart out! Amazing dress and amazing idea about the back seam ... I am going to try that out for my next pair of pants; I always have problems in the back area. Maybe reshaping the CB seam is the way to go!

This dress surpasses much of what one would buy in ready to wear, in style and quality. Absolutely do not shorten this dress. If you want a great short dress, use your muslin to make another. It too will be beautiful !
