I just bought the pattern. May I ask what weight interfacing did you use with your quilting cotton.? Was it the woven medium-heavy? And did you use the three layers in the brim as directed?

I must confess, I used iron on vilene. I have a huge roll of it, its very cheap. I expect that you would get better results from a woven interfacing. I used one layer on the bottom, and two layers on the top part of the brim.
