If you want to try sewing the top to the bottom again, you might try hammering the fabric flat first, and sew over really hard parts by turning the wheel with your hand instead. Instead of sewing the skirt to the bodice, try using heavy weight hooks and eyes. It helps support the weight of the skirt while giving the bodice a smoother look. 10/15/10 5:30 PM
