I like BOTH of these tops, but I REALLY, REALLY like that second one. It's PERFECT. That topstitching you did with your coverstitch really accents the neat design features. It looks SO DANG CUTE on you! I can just see all kinds of possiblities for this pattern. :o) Are you insinuating something by that "coverstitch practice" remark, by the way? Meggie just said in an email last night, on the subject of coverstitching, "And Mom says don't forget ..." Of course, I already FORGOT what it was I wasn't supopsed to forget, but the FUNNY part was, then she said, "DOES SHE THINK WE'RE STUPID OR WHAT?" I said, "Well, in my case ..." :o)) At any rate, if I had your cute little figure, I'd be making up lots of these tops too!

Very pretty tops--I love the crossover detail, too. Thanks for the tip about the low front. I also like my tops to be a bit more modest than they're often designed.

Great tops. The fit is perfect. In fact, the back fit is so good that I'm not sure I would eliminate the cb seam.

I especially like version 2. I have the pattern, but did not reallise you could make it without the ties! I will have to try this!

The tops both look great on you. I have the pattern and was planning to sew it up soon, but we are going into autumn (fall) now and I'm not sure whether I want to do a long sleeve. Your tops are very inspiring

Both tops are lovely,really cute.Your sewing is beautiful,but I have to agree that the pastel one is nicer on you.Maybe version 1 would have looked better had you not worn such a high top underneath it.I looked at this pattern only yesterday,I love crossover tops,and V necks in general.

Oh these are way, way cuter than a plain t-shirt! They both look great on you. I really like V. 2, also. I think because it is so fresh and springlike. V. 1 looks a little more "fallish" but I love that fabric. Your coverstitching looks great.

Both tops look great! I like the slightly flared effect at the hemline. I love the pastel paisley print, especially! Great job, as always.

This is so soft and feminine on you (pink version is my favourite). Then, was is not feminine on you? I love the fabric/pattern combination. Great great project.

These three tops are just wonderful in style, color, and fit. You look absolutely wonderful in these, also. I've never seen you look anything but perfect in your clothing. The nice thing about this pattern is that all three versions look so different.

That is a very cute top. The more I read your review and looked at your pictures, the more I liked it. And since I have a coverstitch machine, I think I need to get this pattern! Thank you for noting all the details with the different fabrics. That was very helpful.

Hilary, The fabric has been in my stash for quite a while. I am fairly sure that it is no longer available. I bought it from a fabric co-op at least a year ago. Thanks, everyone, for all the nice comments!

Very cute tops, my favorite is the green one, the fabric is beautiful, and the fit is excellent.
