Smart looking, and I am sure it will be comfortable. I will bet the white slacks will look cool and set off the jacket nicely.

Thanks for the great review and for the tip about lining/underlining linen with cotton batiste. I have this pattern and am looking forward to making it, especially after reading your review. Hope my grommet tool works OK -- I don't have any engineers handy! ;D

This is in my "to do" stack and I can't wait to get to it. I may have to move it up. Yours is just beautiful. Did you shorten it? The below the waist area looks shorter than on the model.

I did not shorten it, I may have moved the waist a little lower when I matched it to my waist. jw

Judy, do you determine the Burda pattern size using the high bust measurement or the full bust measurement?

I use the high bust measurement. I do that almost exclusively, however I do pattern measurements as a double check. jw

I'd like to warn everybody who might try the skirt included in this pattern. I wear a 14 top and 14/16 bottom, but even the size 20 skirt is too small! Who drafted this and how could they have made such a blatant error?
