This is so cool

Epic is the word! This is beautiful! And thank you for the super review as well, I suspect I might be sewing this classic pattern at some point, so it's great to have advice like yours to turn to.

serious WOW factor!

Awi: oh yes, it's so huge! MagpieJen: Thanks! I only noticed one review of this pattern on this site, and it didn't have a picture with it. Costumes are the most awesome things to sew :) I'm currently into the Victorian period. Good luck with sewing this if you do, tedious, but not awfully difficult... KathySews: Yes, it's really really cool!

Absolutely fabulous!

I am currently working on this one myself. I waited forever because I had a feeling it would be an "epic." Thank you so much for posting pictures! I will do the same once mine is done!

Great review, thanks for sharing!

Tiner W: Thanks! Chris Couture: I might post back and side views at some point. The bulk of the fabric ends up being gathered at the back, so it looks flat at the front, and the shape leans towards the back. I've now figured out how to sit down in it, but yes, it's truly epic! There are bigger hoopskirts out there, but I'd have to say this is pretty huge! yellowgeekgirl: Thanks! Love to share my creations, which are normally crazy adventures.

That is wonderful! It must have taken a lot of patience to make it!

sew4fun222: Thanks! It is cool, but yes, lots of patience required! SoVintage: Thanks! I try to put lots of detail in my reviews (and usually end up overdetailing) During the construction, I took about 160 photos, might write about those at some point...
