This is a good style for you. And I like the binding at the neckline; it kicks up the overall look a little.

Smart ideas on recycling and simplifying as well as use of fabric on bias. This looks great on you, fits really well and will be a great riding top.

It looks great! You inspired me to go out and buy this pattern with version # 1. Did you leave the zipper off of version # 2 as well?

tlmck3-yes, I left off the zipper on this one too. It is polyester and not cut on the bias, so getting it over my curves is tight. Once on, it's perfectly comfortable.

Well, this is just as cute as can be. I especially like that it doesn't require a knit. (I think knits can be hot in the summertime, at least around here.) It REALLY looks nice on you, although it's hard to imagine what WOULDN'T -- ha! I'm heading to The Black Hole right now, and see if I have this pattern. If I don't, then a trip to Wal-Mart is in order. Great review!

Hi this is a beautiful top, and I really like the binding at the neckline. I wondered if you used the facing also from the pattern or simply replaced it with the binding?
