Great tote! Love your fabric choice and I agree the binding finishes it off neatly. I would probably want to put in some inside pockets just to keep organized. I'm going to try this pattern. Very helpful review. Thank you.

This is a great bag. Good idea to use it for for your daughter's hair and make up supplies.

I just bought this pattern today, and have a few question for you (tutti-frutti) or for anyone else who has made this bag. 1. Would regular cotton batting be ok instead of polyester or fleece, and 2. What would you use in the bottom instead of the needlepoint canvas, or is it sturdy enough on it's own.
