Seems one should check the sizing chart for Connie Crawford designs on Butterick website. Measurements are *much* larger than for Women's sizes eg Women's 16W hip = 40", Connie Crawford 16 (XL) hip = 43-46"

I found the same thing with the center back of another of CC's pants patterns. Glad you persevered and made these work. Great color!

A lot of plus sized women need the back incline to go over the high hip, myself included. However, her pattern does seem to exaggerate anything I would need. You got a nice pair of pants that wasn't drafted for you. Nice job on the alterations. Cute top too, BTW.
