This looks like a great robe- enjoy it! I am currently working on a robe similar to this, but from a Butterick pattern. Too bad I didn't know about the Kwik-sew pattern for this one. I really love them.It's been my first time putting in in-seam pockets. The leg cuffs look cute. Happy Hannukah!

I've been tempted by the lounger in the Land's End catalogue myself!! Yours looks fabulous, and the pockets are fine!

If you sewed the ribbing on in the round, it would indeed be very hard to get into the small space. Did you try sewing them in flat before the garment seams are completed. The finish is a bit less pretty but not very noticeably.

lisa, I made a different KS pattern and I sewed the ribbing on that way. The problem is that when you sew it on flat, then the thread shows through. (In that case, I had beige ribbing on a eggplant purple robe. I hate the purplel thread showing on my sleeves.) This robe is sooo warm. I am thinking of making another. But then again, how many robes does one person need??? LOL.
