What a great-looking outfit! You are correct that the bowlegged thing is not visible; the pants just look fine.

jlg -- your pants look wonderful! I have now made these pants 3 times and love them. The pattern does, however, contain instructions for how long to cut the waistband elastic for each size. I had to search for that though -- it's at the beginning, well before the actual sewing begins.

I like the way these elastic waist pants look with no gathers. Very nice pants.
