This is a very pretty blouse, Lisa! I love the collar=--it doesn't look too small. Your blouse doesn't look frumpy at all!

The charm of this pattern is in its simplicity, you've pulled it off well with your excellent choice of fabric. I think it looks nice on you from the back view (not having seen a front view on you :o)). Beautiful work.

No, it's not frumpy, but I have to agree that it is a little disappointing. From the front this blouse looks very plain and the collar disappears into the shoulder line--it does nothing to frame the face, and the sleeves don't have enough interesting accents (pleats, for example) to compensate for the lack of interest at the front. You chose an exquisite fabric, sewed it well, and the back is cute, but unless you want to walk around backwards, I'd suggest putting this pattern to a better use (birdcage liner?). Life is too short to sew with disappointing patterns!
