Your pants do look quite nice though. Good to know about the difference in rise mods from front to back crotch curves. And I agree, hand holding is good and if C. Schaeffer offers hand holding . . . well, good then; she's the one I want.

I think they are very sharp looking trousers. Perhaps when you have forgotten how much trouble they were you will start to like them more--at least, that's how such projects work for me.

Thanks all for your comments and words of wisdom. Yes, I enjoyed wearing the pants yesterday - their first day - and have already shortened the legs, so here's hoping they will have a long life in my wardrobe.

These look very nice - now that you have worked through the big issues - you should make more slacks from this pattern - the hard part is done!
