Ann, I never would have thought of this top in a slinky. I love it -- and now have an idea how to use up all my slinky ... did you purposely cut the sleeve so that the "waves" lined up with the "waves" on the top front?

oops -- one more question. Did you go up a size in this pattern? I noticed on my pattern that the finished garment measurements would make for a snug fit. Is this what Gigi recommended for a more comfortable fit?

Jackie, I did line the sleeves up so the waves would continue across the top. To do this, just line up the pattern at the sleeve notch with the pattern at the front notch. I also lined up the front/back pieces so the waves were continuous around the body. I went with my standard size medium. I waver back and forth with KS patterns. The Small would probably fit (haven't checked the shoulders, so I'm not positive), but I like the extra ease in the Medium. -Ann

This top is gorgeous. I love the fabric and can't believe it is slinky!!! Wow! As someone else wrote, this top looks different for each person reviewing. Very lovely.
