based on your fba adjustments to this pattern, and sewing with knits, I think you should bump yourself up from "beginner" status! Great dresses!

ok- omg- this is just what i have been looking for in a maxi dress! i love what you have done with this pattern. i guess you can put it together in your sleep now:) i am running out to get this pattern. thank you for such detailed bust adjustements. we are very similar in size, so i will have a great starting point!

Thanks for the FBA methods. I am considering doing this dress with FBA, inserting a lining for front bust to hold in swimwear bra cups so as to avoid a strapless bra (really tough to find one in my size that isn't agonizing - 36 G) Any thoughts or suggestions?

wow - this is such a nice group of 'sewists'! thanks for the encouragement! Dale - So glad to see a fellow Hawaii PR person. I'll look for your reviews. Sewing for fun - That's a clever idea (wish I thought of it before sewing, um, ten!) I don't know how those cups are constructed or how to install one, but the seam allowances on the underbust and side seem like a natural place to attach. You might have to come up with something clever to attach on the neckline and armscye. Love to see your results when you're done!

Absolutely brilliante!!! Thank you for the great FBA instruction. The dress is perfect for Hawaii, cool when you're outside and with a bolero, shawl, cardi great for the office.
