That pattern looks like it could be very versatile -- IF one were to go down two sizes or more. Not sure it's worth it, given that there are actually properly fitting patterns out there. But anyway! Your dress ended up very nice and looks great on you. Your fabric is beautiful and you did an excellent job. BTW, I don't think you're a "beginner" anymore, since you knew enough to line it and add a CB seam. Maybe take the plunge and move up a level. :)

I saw the photos and thought, "What a great dress!" It goes so well with the sandals too! And I like the fabric.

It's too bad you're not thrilled with the result, but it really does look nice. The collar is really cute and the belt nicely controls the volume.
