Great review and good on you for taking the risk with something new... it's the only way you'll learn! It's VERY satisfying to learn from mistakes (and I've made QUITE A FEW!) when you re-use a pattern. I've made this pattern a few times myself and really like it, however I have to say that the neckline is a bit low for me and I tend to move the top button placement up a bit (about five centimetres)and then respace all the other buttons between the top and botom buttons.
