Kris, I didn't see this review before I sewed my leggings, but I really like the way yours turned out! I decided on my own to butt the ends of the elastic together, too, but I didn't think to add the tricot behind it--that's a good idea. Your leggings in size 8 are probably more practical than the tighter fitting ones (in 75% stretch, though) I've made. And not being so tight, they probably don't ride up as much. Would rather omit the stirrups, but am afraid they'll ride up. Good job.
