Very pretty dress. I have had the same experience with lining. Most have no give, so they actually need to be cut a bit larger (or use smaller seam allowances) than the garment. And yes, always match the amount of stretch in the muslin to that of the finished garment. Again, I have made that mistake! I'm sure your sister is thrilled with this dress.

I really like the fabric--I am on a blue and white kick lately, and this looks like something I would love to have in my closet!
