Okay this pattern does have construction marks to join all the pieces up. However, there are no marks to indicate where the bust, waist and hips are on the design. It is left to you to decide where best these lines go. You need to know your measurements to decide where you should grade up or down. So a test muslin is a must either on poly trace or calico. Make your changes on the muslin and use it as your pattern for the fashion fabric. I had quilting fabric in a period pattern and it was a little tight for the pattern pieces to fit on. However, as you can see I did managed to get out the dress with less pleating at the back. My red sari version of this dress was very wide and so had extra pleating on the back skirt panels.

You do a great job on these costumes. They look authentic and your choice of fabric is nice. But I would like more detail on construction - what do you do on a pattern that has few drafting marks on each piece?
