Great review. I just bought this pattern yesterday, with plans to make a wearable muslin with a discount gray cotton twill. I especially appreciate your suggestions about the pockets. I'm a hospice nurse and need a place to put my car keys when I see patients in their homes. I'll be doing the one piece pocket-yoke thing at your suggestion. Awesome job on the zipper, by the way, and your skirt is beautiful. You're going to get many compliments when you wear it. It shows off your great figure.

This is DEFINITELY a wearable muslin! And you are right--the invisible zipper is truly invisible. Only the zip tab gives it away, and what it says is, "The person that installed me is a pro!" This will be lovely in wool and with the longer length, perhaps, you will get some swing--or some swish!
