Thank you all so much! I didn't use a satin foot. I am not sure I have one. ingiepops, is it at all like the teflon foot? The serger worked well but I am always on the lookout for new gadgets to make sewing easier.

Very nice. I've tended to go with serging rather than French seams also. French seams can look nice but they are a hassle and the serged seams look just fine.

Very pretty top. Did you use a satin foot on your machine? I've found this really helps to eliminate puckering with such fabrics.
