Oh yes: I made the changes and added the little curved sideseam that Marcy Tilton recommends, and wound up with a shirt that fits like I wanted the TS Basic Top to fit. I have even made this one in a woven, using the TS turn-under-the-edge-and-topstitch finish. It fits and looks far more expensive than I thought it would.
