These jeans look great. I bought this pattern for my son and you have convinced me to try it soon.

Good job...of course, the king of men's jean sewing is BrianSews...you will get tons of good info from his reviews if you haven't already...

I have been sewing for years and consider myself pretty good at it (not expert by any means), but the thought of jeans still scares me. I think you are to be applauded. Congrats on such a good job.

I've had the off-center zipper problem, too. My tried-and-true method now is Debbie Cook's tutorial, which I think is on this site... anybody?

I recently borrowed a video fromt the library by Sandra Betzina and Ron Collins called Jeans couture. He is a Canadian Designer who makes all of his own clothes and tons of jeans. It will change your life! BTW-great job.
