Cute top Cindy! It doesn't appear boxy in the photo... I like the trim you added to the bottom and THANKS for the reference on how draft facings. That's really useful! Great job!

When I looked at your photo and compared it to the pattern, I thought.... the pattern doesnt look as cool as her top. And of course when I read your review I saw that you customized it. I love it! So creative.

Really pretty! Great job at translating from your inspiration top. I love the lace at the bottom. I have this pattern at home and never thought of that detail. I know what I'll be sewing this weekend, now!

Markie, I just shirred the "existing" panel of gathers. MarianS., I LOVE the shirring. If you start looking, you'll see it all over stores now. It's really easy. I tried to link the message board about it but the linking mechanism wasn't working. I'll send you a PM with some info.
