It's a cute blouse and will probably soften with washings. But, like you, I'd not want to fuss so much to put my bag on my shoulder. Have fun on your trip!

Well, I think it's cute and I love the neck ruffling. The fabric is perfect for the styling, too. I could see the sleeves getting in the way of a shoulder bag though. Also, you might want to try using the high bust measurement for tops and dresses and doing an FBA if necessary. I have found the high bust gives a much better fit. You get the right fabrics and patterns together perfectly. I love the neckline ruffle on this one.

I think this is adorable! I love the fabric you picked out and the trim you added at the neck. I would totally wear this if I were you. I just cut out this pattern, and after reading your review, I'm worried that it may be too big. We'll see.
