I did the ribbing on a couple of the elbow-length versions that I made, but with those (when using the bamboo/cotton from fabric.com that Trudy mentions in the videos), the band seemed to be just about the perfect length. It's good to see how nice the cowl version looks in the VW jersey--love your version!

Very pretty top! The easy & instant gratification aspect makes this pattern pretty appealing too. One more for the wish list! :)
