I bought a small pack (6) of prewound bobbins and they worked great. I know I will purchase a larger quanity next time, especially for my embroidery machine. 1/26/04 11:03 PM

I was almost embarrassed when I finally figured out how simple it was. And it's usually my ragged nails, not dry skin, that snag the fabric! I have the knack for turning a simple project into a marathon nightmare ... glad to know I'm not alone! :) 1/26/04 11:21 PM

Every time I read about someone making something in an hour I wish I could be a fly on their wall and see how they can do it!!! 1/27/04 2:19 AM

Even then, with hand winding the wolly nylon, etc etc it sometimes takes longer than that. Glad you love your top, it looks great! 1/27/04 10:50 AM

MaryBeth, that's a great idea about using the scotch tape to mark things - I'm definitely adding that to my repertoire. I picked this fabric after seeing my petite sister-in-law in a lime green RTW eyelash knit but thought it might be a bit much on a tall momma like me. Now, purple....hmmm 1/27/04 6:20 PM
