I was going to make this for DGD for the stash contest but the zipper made me decide to use another one instead. I may try it with your suggestions. It turned out cute, but a zipper in a small child's skirt is overkill, I think.

Your skirt turned out really nice... I bought this skirt pattern too fast, there was a big sale on McCall's patterns and I was short on time. I didn't know there was a zipper in there, since I didn't bother to look on the back of the envelope... I'm glad I saw your review, I will definately omit the zipper and make it longer too! Thanks!

Thanks. I am going to cut this pattern out of corduroy in the morning for my granddaughter. She's tall so I'll definitely be making it longer. I wondered how you could cut this full skirt out of only 1 yard of fabric ! Thanks for your tips.
