This is really cute. I love the clean lines of the dress. I think I have a bit of fabric that is just like that! I think I got it in a swap or something.

Very smart! Sorry to hear about your experience with the fabric. Discount fabric shops and market stalls are often less than completely truthful about fabric content, so it pays to educate yourself about them so that you can identify fabrics yourself. Spending a lot of time browsing in good shops where everything is fully labelled and content is explicitly stated, getting used to the feeling of different fibres, will help. Poly cotton, for instance, always feels different from pure cotton.
