Very cute!

The bag looks great. I love your choice of fabric for the sides. It's really useful to hear your comments as when I sew something like a bag I want the instructions to be easy!

I'm wondering if you could put a layer of tear away backing between the sued so the suede doesn't stick to itself? I hate it when it takes longer to turn the tubes than making the entire item :-) I like your fabric choices!

I made another one of these bags and I used a PVC tube my husband cut for me (he sanded the ends smooth) and it made the turning so much easier! I also used a smooth fake leather for the handles and I sewed closer to the edge which gave it a slightly wider width. I really like this bag pattern so much, that I plan on making yet another one! But I will say that fake leather doesn't iron well, so I am going with a cotton or something that I can get a good crease on when I iron out the handles. These will make great gifts, if I can bring myself to give them away. :-) Thanks for your encouraging words and I like the idea of using the backing. I will have to try that next time, Passion4Sewing.
