Isn't it funny how time sometimes changes how you felt about a fabric initially? That's happened to me too! Interesting perspective 1 year later. I do think your top is cute though and I like how you used the lettuce edging to finish off the armholes. :)

I think you are being way too hard on yourself about the fit. It looks great on you. I especially like the addition of the piping. It defines the style lines beautifully. Based on your results, I am putting this on my list of patterns to buy.
