What a nice top. I'm so glad you mentioned about the empire waist being high. I'll be sure to double check that before I give it a try. I also like the solid back piece and agree with you that it looks better. Great improvement. After seeing yours, I think I may attempt it today. Thanks for the great review. Oh, almost forgot, it didn't look like you overcompensated on the 2nd top - it looks perfect. I'd be interested to read what others think.

That is such a lovely top and print on you Kathi! The first one of these I made was in a wimpy knit too and the neckline collapsed too much, so, for the second one I added a bit of bias tape at the back neckline seam - worked for me. But then I lined the upper back of mine to match the weight of the double layers on the front too...
