Deepika said... Donna, watch out its an addiction! I got my handles at Joann Fabrics and magnetic snaps through Karla, but you can order them online at www.sewing.net and many other sites. Joanns also carries them. The magnetic snap has 4 pieces, a male, female and 2 washers. The concepts is that same as a paper fastner. You mark the position of the snaps, make two holes insert the prongs then on the other side of the fabric, insert the washer and hammer the prongs inside. I always stabilize the fabric where the snap is going to go. Mary yes! a great break and so quick and easy. Unlike the other books on handbags which I've read this one has styles you can actually use and show off! 2/3/04 1:12 PM

Deepika said... MaryBeth, I got the plastic canvas in the crafts section of my local Joann Fabrics. You could probably find it in Michaels too. Heavyweight fusible interfacing and the fusible fleece also came from Joann. Buy the heaviest weight you can find. 2/4/04 6:26 AM
