I would love to hear more about your fitting problems with this pattern. I, too, think it would be easier to fit with a shoulder princess line. I did a low-bust adjustment, following instructions on a down-loadable pdf file: https://agrilifebookstore.org/publications_details.cfm?whichpublication=2291 That adjustment worked well, however, the princess seams fall to the outside of my bust, and there is some unattractive fullness between bust and armscye. I need to move those seams more toward the center front, but don't know how to manage that side front piece.
