I used my normal pattern size(14) for this dress. I'm not certain on the fabric(as I said before, it was a thrift store find), but it appears to be some sort of heavy polyester knit or double knit. The dress fits fairly close to the body, but not uncomfortably close. Good luck!

thanks for your review, anna. what kind of knit fabric did you use? i am thinking of using a slinky knit and am wondering whether i should use a size smaller than i would normally use. thanks!
