i have to agree with you- my foray into knits caused me to fall in love with Jalie, too! this top fits you very well- let us know how the interfacing or material choice works out for the turtleneck. i recently made the henley-ish version of this pattern and love it.

REALLY cute fabric! Great color on you, too. If you use another "floppy" knit and don't like the way it goes on the tutrtleneck, you might try "lining" the neck with a layer of Glissenette fabric, which is a sheer lycra with some body to it. It should not add too much bulk, but will add body if needed to the "turtle" part. I think the top looks great, though.

Kathi, very well fitted T, in absolutely charming fabric print (I'm a sucker for a vibrant orange print). When using ITY for a mock turtleneck, I sometimes double the fabric to get a proper 'stand up' collar - a bit fiddly to match the prints when installing a double collar, but suits the bill.
