A complete and beautifully written review! As you note, it's a bit hard to tell from the photo, but the pants appear to fit you well and you obviously love them. It makes me wonder why in general you don't make or wear pants?

OK, the most powerful justification of all. But still, I suspect you look exceedingly pretty and put together in your fine trousers.

These are some great trousers, and they fit you very well. Thanks for the tip about washing the linen three times, didn't know that.

I love this style. Not sure I love high-waisted everything, but I don't love ultra-low-waisted, that's for sure. It doesn't love me either. These sound great for summer. (And I'm with you on washed linen. The only type of linen I like!)

I've just purchased this pattern (despite not liking the 'dip'). As I find it so hard to find trousers that fit me (40 hips 28waist but only 5ft tall!) Do you think they'd suit be adaptable for a shorter person?
