Your cap turned out great. I guess the grey around the face is part of the lining--nice look. Good alternative, if you don't like the GP balaclava's small opening for the face.

Yes, Penelope the grey is the lining. I have considered the balaclava pattern several times, but thought my son would tolerate the open face on this one better. I also thought this one would stay in place better on him because of the velcro. Thanks for the compliment.

For some reason the GP patterns have multiple numbers. Nice cap! I recognize that fabric; love the print. And the grey lining does add a nice contrast.
