Such a lovely form fitting style, great fabric print and love the piping. It does look like some of the fabric is pulling at the back but I think you are so close to a very attractive TNT.

I feel your pain, had one of those days myself. Mine ended up in the bin. Yours looks totally wearable:)

it is so pretty! It looks great on you! may I ask something? The fabroc that u used = is this quilting fabric? I ask becuase I have quilting cotton and it wrinkles, I don;t know if it can be used for clothing... anyway - I just love this tonic!

The piping looks very pretty! I am sorry you had such a hard time with this pattern. But, it does look very cute on you. Also, I kind of agree with your cynical assessment of Ms. Butler's pattern layout.

Thanks for the warning. I have this pattern, but not tried yet due to my massive failure with trying to do an FBA on the Cabo halter pattern. Her patterns are definitely better for small-chested women.

I hear you on the trouble with this pattern. I tried and failed on an FBA on this shirt too - yours turned out much better than mine, though! I hope your side zip modification works for you because I think you're pretty close to getting the alterations for this shirt correct.

Your considerable efforts to make the pattern work paid off beautifully! Really good looking blouse.

thanks for this review. I have this pattern and actually bought the fabric on the pattern cover. I find her patterns to be written a little awkwardly too. Guess I grew up with McCalls, Butterick and Simplicity and am use to those. I'm still a little intimated to start this project. I will definately read your review again before I start. Entertaining for sure.

I appreciate your frank comments and your openness about your experience. I appreciate your humor, and I feel your pain. Great fabric.

Thanks for your review. I re-jigged the cutting layout too, and only used 3 of the 4 specified yards!
