I've never worn a cape before, but I would definitely wear yours. I like yours better than the pattern picture. Great fabric choice and the toggles look very nice. It's fun when you can put something together like that!

Your cape looks very classy - thanks for the review. I'm working on a Burda cape pattern right now. It's so nice that all you have to fit is the shoulders! My pattern doesn't call for a lining, but it really seems to need it, and your comment pushed me to not be lazy about adding one. I don't normally wear capes, but the new styles are pretty stylish, and I thought it'd be great to wear for bike riding.
