You can be very proud of yours and KT's accomplishment! Based on this review and also reviews by Jules in Vancouver and Patti B, I am gaining courage and inspiration. DH and I can't find a coffee table we like for our living room; we really like this idea of an ottoman instead--we'll have more control over design and color this way, too.

DH and I have talked ourselves into making an ottoman. Thanks for your review--it's nice to see it can be done with such great results!

I just purchased an ottoman for our living room. Maybe a bit bigger than yours, and it has storage. Cost a little over $300! I'm sure I could make it for less, but I also knew it would take FOREVER for me to get it done. I love yours -- good job!

The ottoman looks great! I'm going to have to dig up that article now.
