Pattern Description: women's dress
Pattern Sizing:12-20
Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it?Yes, except for modifications. I made this twice, once with a modified sleeve, once sleeveless.
Were the instructions easy to follow?Yes, although the neckline came out wonky on the first try. The second time was good and fits well.
What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern?It was easy to alter for my size - I cut on a 12 around the collar and an 18 for width, and this worked well. It did fit without the zipper.
Fabric Used:first time I used lightweight printed corduroy. The second one was black poly crepe.
Pattern alterations or any design changes you made:size changes as mentioned above. Also, did a shorter sleeve on the corduroy.
Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others?
I am planning to make this again in the long version in velvet, with the 3/4 sleeve, and adding a full lining.
Conclusion:
This is flattering, especially if you are large busted - it helps to minimize a little if you need it.I'll try to post pics when I finish.
